Monicanva by Learn Booker

At Learn Booker, we are on a mission to end generational poverty in Africa by equipping students with essential financial education from an early age. We believe that financial literacy is a lifelong skill that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.

The Problem We Are Solving

Nigeria and 34 other African countries have never integrated personal finance into their national curriculums. As a result, over 200 million students across Africa grow up without the knowledge to manage money effectively, leading to lifelong financial struggles and poverty cycles in families. Without proper financial education, young people enter adulthood without the skills to save, invest, or make informed financial decisions.

Our Solution

To bridge this critical gap, we developed monicanva—a web app providing engaging, easy-to-understand financial education video lessons for students from primary to tertiary levels. Our curriculum covers essential topics like spending and savings, employment and income, credit and debt, retirement and investing, risk management, and financial decision-making.

What Makes Us Unique?

Unlike other financial education platforms, monicanva is built on:
i. A unique curriculum designed specifically for African students, addressing their real-world financial challenges.
ii. Three groundbreaking intellectual properties that simplify financial concepts, making learning 10X simpler and easier to understand and apply.
iii. Interactive learning tools that make financial literacy fun, engaging, and practical.

Our Goals

i. Educating millions of students across Africa with the financial skills to secure their futures.
ii. Partner with schools, governments, and organizations to integrate financial education into their curriculums.
iii. Build a financially literate generation that can break free from poverty and create wealth for themselves and their families.
